Of course, as should be expected, the 1 to 40 experience isn't exactly bug-free. Tortage is fairly stable, but some of the quests in the Wild Lands of Zelata are busted and mob behavior occasionally bugs out. It's still very much playable, though. The quest lines in those 20 to 40 zones have some interesting narrative threads that connect multiple dungeons, which at keeps things more engaging than if you were doing random kill quests. NPC quest-givers interact with you through cutscenes, letting you select from dialogue options like in a single-player RPG, which at the very least lends a little more personality to the process of scooping up a zone's quests. If only the cutscene camera didn't so often bury itself in the grass or in the back of another player's head.

Dungeons seem pretty interesting so far, with some being easier, outdoor locations that can be beaten solo. The more difficult ones, like the Sanctum of the Burning Souls, require a group and have better loot drops, as should be expected. Within the Sanctum were spiders and lost souls, a stone-walled ravine section with blood waterfalls and a pool below, and a boss encounter against a giant skinless demon. I got a piece of blue medium armor for myself with a nice design pattern on it, and it differed significantly in appearance from any of the equipment I'd seen previously. Even though the armor and weapon designs in the game are simply fantastic, it's annoying to see that after 20 or 30 levels your character's armor and weapons look largely unchanged, a result of a lot of the world drops and non-dungeon quest rewards having much in common in terms of visual appearance within their armor type categories.

You buy it, you start playing it, you don't stop. Start it on a free weekend, hammer on until you get to lv80...what you'll notice

Do things this way and you'll always have the best items you can have for your level. The only thing I can fault is this...At level 40 your won't have enough money to get a mount...but you won't need one until lv60.

Not only are the growing numbers a very strong indication on Age of Conan's popularity pre-launch, the entire development process is also reaping the rewards from the constantly increasing numbers of gamers signing up to join the beta test. This allows Funcom to thoroughly test numerous aspects of the game, contributing to a smoother launch and a more enjoyable gaming experience from day one.

Age of Conan is consistently mentioned as one of the most anticipated PC games in development. At launch the game will have received more than thirty covers on high-profile gaming magazines across the globe and more than fifteen major awards, including numerous "Best MMO of E3" awards and the official "Best Online Game" award at the Games Convention 2007. Age of Conan is a key title in Microsoft's Games for Windows line-up, and a showcase title for nVidia. Age of Conan launches 20th of May in North America / Oceania and 23rd of May in Europe. The release date in Poland is still to be set.

"We want them [Xbox 360 gamers] to be able to play with their PC friends if they like to... But obviously the control mechanism, the communication, all this is stuff we are solving on a daily basis. The patching, the install, the footprint, the payment, the servers, the customer service... it's a challenge. But we will get there eventually," Tharaldsen said. Let's say: You are really lucky today!

As a long term MMOG player and a writer, my keyboards see a lot of use. I select them with care and a lot of thought. When I received the new Age of Conan keyset and Z-board in the mail, I was a little more impressed than I thought I'd be. Admittedly I'm a sucker for bright colors and pretty packaging and the Z-board had that. It was quite attractive. But would it hold up to a week of Age of Conan? Would it be intuitive and handy, or would I just end up going back to my old trusty Logitech G-15?

I was about to learn that answering those questions wasn't going to be that easy. I popped in the installation CD and was immediately notified that it wouldn't run on Windows Vista 64. However, the manual did tell me that I could get a 64-bit version from the Z-board website.Be a professional Age of Conan gold store online.

The Z-board comes with a standard keyset, a gaming keyset, and the keyboard itself. When you want to change keysets for different games, you simply lift a tab on the right of the keyboard, and the keyset folds right off of the keyboard. You can then install your specialized keysets. Finally, I settled down and installed the Age of Conan Keyset that was also shipped to me, and I booted up the game.
